Why does perfume smell different on different people?2019-03-22T09:44:16+00:00

Your own body chemistry affects how different notes react on your skin. Anything that affects the “natural” smell of your skin, such as stress, hormonal changes, your current diet or medications, might change how a perfume smells on you.

Why do I see people online selling these perfumes as ORIGINALS or original rejects?2019-03-26T09:19:30+00:00

Honesty is the Best Policy – Please note that there is only one shipment coming into South Africa. You might see allot of ads and people selling these perfumes claiming they are either original or only original rejects. *(This is all false information)* It is so easy to mislead someone, as these perfumes are boxed, sealed, barcoded and packaged exactly like the original and not many people know the actual facts about original rejected stock. Just as anything in life, you can’t expect something to be original with such a hugely discounted price. (If it seems too good to be true, it is).

You would also see that these people who are selling them as originals or original rejected stock all claim the same thing, they don’t last as long, a small defect might sometimes appear on some items, it will be boxed and sealed and it’s all mainly imported, that is because; what they are selling are the exact same perfume as these, coming from the same shipment.

If you do just a little research on this subject, you will very quickly learn that original rejected perfume will never come in a box and especially not sealed. If you are ever unsure if someone is ever selling a real original reject, first ask if it comes in a box or not…

100% Original Reject Perfume

  • Will have some defects on bottle/label, caps etc.
  • Liquid inside will be 100% original.
  • The perfumes come without the packaging box.
  • If you see it being advertised as AAA Grade, it’s NOT an original reject.

(Dubai Grade AAA) Branded Perfume

  • 90% The same as Original.
  • Packaging (box & bottle) are the same as the original. It will be boxed and sealed as original.
  • It’s manufactured in Dubai from original ingredients, but less in alcohol and pure ingredients.
  • The smell and look are the same as the original it just doesn’t last as long

How long does the smell last?2019-03-22T10:31:56+00:00

This is a hard question.

First: It’s very important to note that these perfumes DOES NOT last as long as the original in store would. If you are used to the original and you can spend the R1000 to R2000 for the original please don’t buy these at this price and expect the lasting power of the one in store.

Second: Every single perfume is different and cannot be expected to have the same lasting power as some scents are meant to be lighter and some heavier. For example: Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue EDT  is designed to be a lighter fragrance than Tom Ford’s black orchid.

Third: Your skin & diet plays a huge roll. We have had clients who bought the same perfume but the one said it lasts up to 7-8 hours on her skin, where the other said 30 mins. Another example is: I myself tested the ORIGINAL DKNY green in store and it didn’t even last 20 mins on my skin before it was completely gone, and that was the Original that was priced at R950 in store. It really depends from person to person.

Fourth: Heat maximizes perfume. Your neck, wrists, backs of knees, and other pulse points emit more heat than other parts of your body. And that heat actually activates and maximizes your perfume. There are times during the day where perfume might smell stronger than other times because of heat.

Fifth: We have a second option of perfumes called the original Dubai Brands where some scents lasts up to 2 days on your skin, Please see our product list and look for the original Dubai brands under men’s and ladies perfume… Please note that these perfumes does not fall under the R170 category…

How do I track my order?2020-11-17T11:15:39+00:00

If your order is fully processed before 1pm daily the Scent Me team will pack and dispatch your order the same day, we will send you a WhatsApp message containing the courier (generally Fastway Couriers) Tracking Number for your order, along with the courier website details the following morning.

Do you have Testers?2019-03-25T22:43:51+00:00

Unfortunately these perfumes does not have 5ml testers. These are not the Oil based perfumes that people mix at home, pour into 5ml, 30 ml, 50 ml, and 100ml glass bottles and then distribute. These perfumes are mainly imported and the manufacturer does not make 5ml testers.

If you go to Edgars/Dischem etc. you will see that they also do not have or use any 5ml testers but use the actual bottle as you would buy it as a tester.

Do you Courier outside of South Africa?2019-06-14T17:25:37+00:00

Can I Resell this products? If so, How?2019-06-14T17:29:59+00:00

Yes you definitely can!

Our main business is supplying perfume to agents all over South Africa just like you with a huge success rate.

Is there any sign-up documents, fees or rules?

No, there is NO sign-up documents and NO START UP FEES Whatsoever. You set your own rules and decide your own profit.

Why are these perfumes so popular?

The perfume sells very fast and easy as its boxed and sealed in the original packaging and 100% look like the original. In an economy like ours, 85% of households need to be careful with what luxuries they can afford for themselves or as gifts for relatives or friends. Most people would rather spend R250 instead of paying the full price of R900 – R2000 in the store per bottle.

For what amount can I sell these perfumes for?

The market price for this perfume is R250. We supply at R170 specifically so agents like you can decide their own mark-up and income. We recommend selling for R250 excl. courier each (which gives you a profit of R80 per bottle), but it is 100% up to you. We have agents selling these perfumes for up to R400 incl. courier each with huge success (that gives them about R135 profit per bottle if the courier is included in their price), however, it all depends on your marketing strategy and how you sell them. (the higher your price the more aggressive you need to sell). Some of our agents are now making around R10 000 per month profit.

How do I get the products to my clients?

Option 1: If your clients live close to you or its family members or friends you can courier the parcel to yourself and you can distribute directly from there.

Option 2: If your clients live in other cities and far away from you we can courier directly to your client so you don’t have those extra costs of sending the parcel to you and then from you to your client. We don’t add any information or invoices of our company (Scent Me) to parcels. So, your client will never know it didn’t come from you. We also courier every single day (Monday to Friday), so there is no waiting period! If your client just orders 1 perfume or 20 perfumes, we courier to them the very same day if the order is placed and processed before 2 pm. There are no minimum order amounts.

How do the payments work?

You keep your profit from the very start.
If you sold 5 perfumes to 1 client you quoted them:
5 x R250 plus R95 courier = R1345 (which they paid you)
You then place the order with us and only pay us:
5 x 170 plus R95 courier = R945
So that means *you keep your profit of R400* for that 1 order.
